Ok. To end the longtime debate on whether or not the infected from 28 Days & 28 Weeks Later are zombies or not has been solved. I felt from the beginning that these people were in no way shape or form the Undead for the simple fact that they had never died, nor have they been bitten or infected by the recently deceased. I have just completed watching a small documentary on the special features portion of 28 Weeks Later and as stated by a crew member who was choreographing the cast of infected… “they are not zombies or creatures, they are people infected with pure rage”!!!
I have been fighting this fact since the first film was released and 50% of people just don’t get it, they cant get it through their thick ball sacks, and/or labia… to be politically correct. I cant begin to explain the many, many ways that can prove the fact of these PEOPLE not being the previously DEAD. Yes they are infected the same way a person would be as if they were by zombies, well for the most part, the heavy vomiting of blood into the face of the living isn’t a usual happening in your everyday flick about the Undead.
For those of you who still believe they are zombies, keep watching over and over till you fucking get it. This film is not the re-make of Dawn of the Dead, which featured corpses that could beat even the greatest of Olympian sprinters in the one hundred meter dash. These two films are extraordinarily different. They creators of the 28 films tried to use an intelligent and extremely fresh idea but it was tainted by minds who only believe that such looks and happenings could be done by zombies… fuck that!At the moment I am sticking my tongue out at you all and hoping your brains can fathom the fact that you were WRONG!!!!!!
